Hank falls and knocks himself out while chasing a thief from his office. He's forgotten to take his 'medicine bottle' with him and his flesh starts disappearing, revealing his bony white skeleton underneath. Everybody is talking about the "well-dressed Skeleton" found lying in the street. His old-fashioned 1940s clothes and hat look very strange. The police, after foresnsic tests, have the body buried. Is this really the end of Hank Cane? It will be, unless Charlie can work out Hank's secret code in the letter in his desk draw, marked 'ONLY TO BE OPENED IN AN EMERGENCY'. If this isn't an emergency what is? But can Charlie handle all the secrets in the letter? |
